Karin R. Zeigler, received her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, cum laude, from the University of Northern Iowa and her J.D. with honors, from the Drake University Law School. Ms. Zeigler was the Editor in Chief of the Agricultural Law Journal and has continued to publish articles in the legal field. Previously her practice involved defending employers in employment litigation and administrative proceedings, as well as advising and training management-level employees on all aspects of employment relations. She is now devoting her time to preventing discrimination and harassment from occurring in the future and investigating and correcting incidents promptly and effectively when they are alleged.

Ms. Zeigler also has extensive litigation experience with claims involving the basic and complex enforcement of contracts, construction defect, arson, and products liability cases. She has drafted numerous opinion letters for insurance companies involving disputes prior to the commencement of litigation, as well as complaints, discovery, summary judgment motions, motions to dismiss, and other pleadings in both state and federal courts.

Ms. Zeigler is a member of the Federal Bar Association, Iowa State Bar Association, Polk County Bar Association, Polk County Women Attorneys, Iowa Organization of Women Attorneys, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Hennepin County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Iowa, Minnesota, and the United States District Court of Minnesota. Her areas of practice consist primarily of litigation, equal opportunities, and employment law.
