Nicholas J. Herbold

Nicholas Herbold ("Nick") obtained his B.A., majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy, from the University of Iowa. Nick was the president of the student body while at the UI. Following college graduation, Nick moved to Washington, D.C. to work for the United States Senate. Nick later returned to Iowa to attend the University of Iowa College of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctorate, graduating from law school with distinction. Prior to joining Jean Pendleton in private practice, Nick served as law clerk to the Honorable Mark W. Bennett, United States District Court Judge for the Northern District of Iowa.
Nick is also a certified mediator, who assists parties in resolving their conflicts without the financial and emotional toll of trial. Also towards that end, Nick encourages collaborative divorce, when the circumstances make it available.
